This month we examined some of the interesting places you can check out independent films in the capital, along with some exciting interviews with the people who make our scene so vibrant and diverse, including Diao Yinan, Xue Xiaolu, and Leon Lee. Lastly, we tried our hand at creating a cinematic masterpiece in the frantic 48 Hour Film Contest at Meridian Arts, with questionable but entertaining results.
Elsewhere, we spent a day on the town with local business owner Kenny Cao to find out where his favorite places are to satisfy his cultural and physical hungers. We also tested out muesli to find out what is the healthiest/tastiest in town, and then Robynne Tindall dusted off the silverware for a taste of the silver screen with Food On Film.
