Dairy Dispatch: Trouble Bar to Give Us Gourmet Grilled Cheese

If you've stayed out of Trouble up until now, then maybe it's time to reconsider.

By the end of the month, Trouble Bar's customers will see expanded outdoor seating, more space for Natooke fixed gear bike products, and a larger bar area. But the biggest change of all will be the addition of a kitchen, and that kitchen, we're told, will be wholly based on cheese.

"Cheese platters, cheese and sausage platters, and gourmet cheese sandwiches," owner Brick O'Neal-Johnson said. "Up to 30 different imported cheeses will be available, as well as a selection from Le Fromager de Pekin. We look forward to being creative with our cheese sandwiches."

Yesss. Those dairy devils that took away that lovely grilled cheese haven in Fangjia Hutong have been defeated.

For those with an aversion to dairy, there will be plenty of other food options, including Two Guys and a Pie and Andy's Craft Sausages, plus delivery options available from Gung Ho! and China View's new organic health food restaurant, Tribe.

Expect food service to kick off at the beginning of September, but in the meantime, you can stay up to date on Trouble Bar's promotions and events here.
