The Tail of the Dragon: Networking at Pangu Plaza

Remember that huge dragon-shaped (well, something like a dragon) building that rose up to the west of the Bird's Nest just prior to the Olympics? The one with the huge 3,400sqm LED screen that broadcast images of the Olympics to the crowds that milled about the Olympic Green during the games? Well in the tail of this dragon, also known as Pangu Plaza, you can find the Pangu 7 Star Hotel and on the 21st floor of the hotel, Happiness Lounge awaits.

If you're interested in taking a peek around the premises, The European Chamber of Commerce along with the Canada China Business Council Beijing Chapter and the Swiss Chamber of Commerce have organized a New Year Inter Chamber Networking Evening for tomorrow night at Happiness Lounge. So you can enjoy looking out over the Water Cube and Bird’s Nest while meeting new friends and contacts.

If you're interested in going, you'll need to register in advance (click here), and the admission fee of RMB 150 (for non-members), covers one free drink (wine, juice, soft drink or local beer ) and a selection of canapés. Happy hour (buy one get one free) runs until 8pm. For more details, visit this site.
