The people over at Matador Nights, who profess to cover "the world's best nightlife", have released their Top 10 Rooftop Bars. They saw fit to give Shanghai a place on the list but not Beijing. OK, so the views here don't often compare to those of the bars on the list but there are some great rooftops here, and here are ten of Beijing's best (in no particular order):

Finally, it seems that the Olympic days of celebrity spotting might not be so far off. In recent weeks Suzie Wong's had Arsene Wenger and Jose Mourinho bopping away at the same time, and last night Leonardo di Caprio was at Lan Club. First one to snap Paris Hilton or Lindsay Lohan in the gutter outside Shooters wins a prize. Happy hunting.
