2009 Jul 09 VIP Card winner from 1949 - The Hidden City

Congratulations to coco-nuts for winning the Hidden City: 1949 VIP card Contest.
Her description of Taverna was on point:

"Great for those looking for a relaxing, yet romantic dinner with a loved one. Or, even for a casual business lunch with a mate who's new in town ... It's not a large restaurant, so be sure you make a reservation for the evenings and weekends when they are most popular and bound to fill up."

The Hidden City is located just behind the Pacific Century Building at Changhong Qiao near Sanlitun and has a range of decadent restaurants in its large facility. The former industrial research building is now a chic dining and entertainment compound, complete with an great selection of restaurant options, an in-house bakery and an art gallery. Click here for more info on its array of venues.

Although we’re big fans of the “and Grille” part of Union Bar and Grille, there’s nothing we like more than a seat at the bar, a happy hour pint and a handful of their complimentary salty chips. Led by the ever-affable Andy Bright, Union’s staff is also top-notch.
