2009 Sep 19 Let the Pampering Begin - Tony Studio

The award-winning Tony brand has opened a new branch at Dongsishitiao, only a short walk from the subway station. The pampering begins as soon as you enter the salon and are greeted by a team of welcoming staff, who all speak some English and are eager to help.

They’ll usher you to one of the gorgeous, dark wood seats with pink floral cushions, from where you can gaze at the walls, covered in photos of hairstyles, and begin discussing the style or cut that you want.

The spacious salon has separate rooms for hair styling, nail care and tanning (with two stand-up tanning booths). Professional hair care is now affordable, with a Precision Haircut starting at only RMB 180.

Re: Let the Pampering Begin - Tony Studio

You said "pampering" huhhuhuhuhu..

It's better to be nice, kind, generous, friendly, helpful, sexy and rich than to be obnoxious, scary, stinky, stingy, lonely and poor.

Re: Let the Pampering Begin - Tony Studio

Just checked it today, I guess situation changed a bit. NO TANNING! I shouldn't probably believe this article and call them first... (The onliest tanning booth they have is in Lido area at their "D-space" gym. NOBODY SPEAKS ENGLISH AT ALL, AND OF COURSE NOBODY GREATS YOU AT THE ENTRANCE! hehe

Guys, I'm married, but thanks for your attention;)))

The word that comes closest to capturing its essence is confidence. Short for “swagger,” “swag” is determined by the way you carry yourself: your speech, your gestures and of course your style of dress.

Unless you’ve already tied the knot, you’re likely unaware how starved for options Beijing is for wedding apparel. Overseas returnee Violet Li (and wife of Ed Hung, founder of NLGX Design Store) hopes her first Beijing shop can finally fill the gap between fashion and bridal wear.

While Western luxury brands are currying favor from Chinese consumers left and right, China Fashion Week always serves as a stark reminder that we still have a long way to go. Still, CFW Fall/Winter 2012 – again sponsored by Mercedes-Benz – kicked off to more public interest than ever before on March 24 and concluded with a lavish closing party last Sunday, April 1. A total of 41 fashion shows took place during that time; we have rounded up photos from all the top fashion shows and parties below.
