2009 Oct 02 Talking Pints: A Guide To Free Drinking This Holiday

If you're in town then you are probably on holiday for at least some of the next week. If you're off then you might as well go out. Tonight there are Ladies' Nights at Tun and Danger Doyle's, plus Harem at Fez Bar. The Boat is Fresh this evening and those who are friendly to "alternative lifestyles" are most welcome. If none of that tickles your fancy then try Sonic Deviation at Q Bar.
Tomorrow is "gangsta", well it is at Bling's Keep it Gangsta night. Obiwan and Q Bar are kicking it old school with Retrodance and Git Some! peddling techno and Motown respectively. Hotel G's got free wine and champagne for the ladies at I Don't Do Him, I Do G.
If you get through to Sunday then it's reggae and barbecue at the Meiwenti Dubwise Reggae BBQ on the roof at Obiwan. Then why not cap off the weekend at Cinco de Drinko at the Saddle on Monday, and Hair of the Dog on Tuesday at the Rickshaw. There's also Gossip Pour Femme at Touch on Wednesday and Juicy Ladies Night on Thursday at Club Juicy Spot. Both have yet more free drinks for the fairer sex.
All of the above events are free. More money to spend on drink.
Now is also the time to look ahead towards the beginning of the city's Oktoberfests, which start later on in the week. Time to dust off your lederhosen.
