Despite excited clamoring on the Beijinger forum, cult US chain Fatburger has been slow to touch down in the capital. Continuing the Yankee theme, we’ve heard that Chef Too owner Billy will be opening “The Grill”, a high-end American restaurant with a Californian touch and a “known or grown” food policy. So look out for heirloom veggies in The Village at Sanlitun’s new north section in December.

Downtown, A host of multi-themed eateries have opened in the Prosper Centre (next door to the Kerry Centre Hotel), taking care of all your working lunch needs.
