2010 Mar 03 Food Fight – Win Books and Wine!

What’s wrong with you, dear readers? Last week we set the challenge – the first three users to post reviews of Sanlitun venues THAT HAD NOT BEEN REVIEWED BEFORE would each win themselves a copy of Eileen Wen Mooney’s Beijing Eats, the essential guide to dining in the capital. We’ve had plenty of reviews but only ONE for a Sanlitun venue not covered before. So now we’re upping the ante…
First up, this week's winner. Mandelbrot wrote about the Yunnan eatery In and Out at the quiet end of Sanlitun:
Excellent Dinner - Sure to Return
4 stars
“Had the pleasure of learning this new restaurant last night with friends who favor it as well. The place was quite busy so ‘note to self: call ahead for reservation’… The menu was well prepared with lots of descriptions and good photos. We ordered six dishes… Everything was delicious and well seasoned - not too salty, not too bland, not too spicy….
You can read Mandelbrot’s full review here. To reward his/her efforts, Mandelbrot scores a copy of the lavish photography book One Night in Beijing AND a copy of Eileen Wen Mooney’s Beijing Eats.
Now, here’s this week’s challenge. The first two users to post reviews of ANY BEIJING RESTAURANT in our directory that has NOT been written about before will score a copy of One Night in Beijing PLUS a bottle of wine each.
Honestly, reviewing is easy – just register as a user, find the restaurant in our directory and click “Add a Review” to the right of the restaurant write-up. Winners will be announced next week here on the Beijinger blog.
Now FIGHT!!!!
