Weekend Live Music Roundup: Lamb of God, Rustic of Shijiazhuang and Powa of Electro

Hats off! The talk about town this weekend is the legendary Lamb of God, smashing The Star Live twice on Apr 11 & 13. On Friday, Paul van Dyk heats up GT Banana with trance wave, local electronic jazz group Acid Live celebrates anniversary at Mao Livehouse, and the China Global Battle of Bands winner Rustic rock 2 Kolegas before heading to England for the final round. Saturday sees the Dalian post-rock outfit Wang Wen releasing their fifth studio album at Mao Livehouse (see interview here), whereas punksters of Unsafe and Flyx keep the Wudaokou grunginess going at D-22.

Of course, if all of above are far too heavy for you, check out Eleventyseven at Yugong Yishan on Sunday, they will get your mind off all the rock struggles with dance pop from sunny California. Personally I just don't get it when people are happy for no reason...
