2010 Jul 16 iPhone Reviewing Challenge Running Hot!

Since we announced our Reviewing Challenge yesterday the user reviews have been flooding in. Congrats to s.rocard, blazeQ, missprinted and pointplace, who have already earned themselves a spot in the draw for a 3GS iPhone next week. LondonMilk and evenflow are hot on their heels with four and three reviews respectively.
Remember, five reviews gets you a place in the draw for a 3GS iPhone. At the moment those in the draw have a 25 percent chance of winning! So help lengthen those odds and win your own spot by reviewing some bars, restaurants and other venues in our online directory before next Tuesday.
It’s easy – all you need to do is find a venue in our online directory, click the “Add a Review” link on the right-hand side of each venue listing, and type away.
For every five reviews submitted before midday next Tuesday (July 20), you’ll get one ticket in the lucky draw. Write 10 reviews, you get two tickets. Each reviewer can have up to 4 tickets in the draw. And the lucky winner gets an iPhone 3GS!

Free Scarves for Expats at D.I.S

Most emerging local brands target the increasingly influential Chinese consumer, not us humble expats. And when they do come after us, they tend to meet with limited success. Not the case with Dutch Items Shanghai, a Shanghai-based boutique designed by and for expat women. D.I.S opened its first shop in 2007, but already has four branches and counting – the latest of which is in Hong Kong. None in Beijing yet, but thanks to their recently launched web shop, Beijingers now have ready access to their high-quality clothing and accessories as well.

Re: iPhone Reviewing Challenge Running Hot!
Please take a look at user alialayoubi's reviews. He's very obviously just leaving bare minimum one sentence reviews that are hardly useful just to try to rack up entries. Here are just a few:
1) One things can learn in Ya-show Market, is how to bargain..!! its an Art .
you will enjoy the feeling of tourist
2) If you wanna fell like eat Old Ottoman sultan and try to eat what they was eating go for it, you will never regret.
3) I even can't make one comment about this . its Wal-Mart . just enjoy your shopping time there .
4) wanna american style dinner snakes, try this one while you in the area ... Drink never be cheap like this
----
For #4 he gave Helen's Cafe only 2 stars with no qualifications for why he gave the low rating (I guess he doesn't like cheap american style dinner snakes?)
