Apple’s iPhone 4S arrives in China next week. Before you head down to join the feverish masses, think about whether this latest smartphone version is worth the inevitable pain and suffering. There’s a reason China is one of Apple’s fastest-growing markets. Apple news in China spreads fast and makes headlines, especially anything concerning Steve Jobs or upcoming iPhone releases. Recently, China has even been making headlines of their own with Apple stories that hit closer to home.

It’s only been two months since Groupon came into China, and already they are embroiled in scandal. Yesterday, the company took responsibility for fraud that occurred in the May 10th lottery that they conducted on their Sina and Tencent microblogs. They also issued a statement dismissing the employee responsible for it, a former Vice President at the company.
