2011 Aug 28 Burgers & Beer: Exactly What It Sounds Like

Combine a menu of Let’s Burger proportions with northeast Beijing’s widest selection of beer and this is what you get. Located just outside the Maquanying station on Line 15, this well-designed hideaway is tastefully decorated in all-American style, heavy on New York City iconography.
There are 20 different burger combos, from “The Classic” (RMB 49) to behemoths such as “The Lumberjack,” two patties on three slices of rye, with Swiss and cheddar cheeses (RMB 95). Or try “The Bohemian” (RMB 69), a beef burger sharing bun space with chicken breast slices, goat cheese, spinach and garlic dressing. Service at lunch was snappy, though our burgers were served with mayonnaise even after we were assured they would not be. Points off too for the fact that fries must be ordered separately.
The drink list features 50 beers, from the pedestrian (Heineken and Budweiser, both RMB 20) to craft beers and European ales. They also offer Hoegaarden, Guinness and Pedigree on tap.
Standout dishes: “The Classic”
Also try: Let’s Burger, Blue Frog

Fit For a King: Feast Offers a New All-You-Can-Eat Option

The first thing that strikes you about Feast is that it’s a fine-looking restaurant. Of course, nobody really comes to a place like this to enjoy the design, so it’s just as well that the all-you-can-eat offerings deliver. Mix up your own salad to ease yourself in, and try not to overindulge in the bread and cheese selection – you’re going to need every inch your stomach allows.
Malay Day: Malaysian Cuisine at Little Nyonya

Since the term nyonya refers to the women of Chinese communities in Malaysia and Singapore, pretend with me for a second that Little Nyonya, the restaurant, is an actual woman. She’d be the kind of gal you could take home to meet your mom: reliable and demure, not the most glamorous, but someone you can settle down with. She does, after all, know how to cook.
Stylish Sichuan: Syringa Opens at China Central Place

If you love the food at Chuan Ban, but find the environment a little too “authentic” for out-of-town visitors or a date, Syringa may be your best new alternative. The kitchen is staffed with Chuan Ban alumni, but the setting is cleaner, fresher and has a certain rustic-chic meets cliché-contemporary-art charm.

You forgot to mention "The Godfather", a triple-decker costing over 200 RMB...
I was actually there this past weekend. I was impressed by the decor and the menu was looking really good (especially the draft beer). But alas, my shopping companions decided to go for Sichuan food instead.
