2011 Dec 05 Simple Plan Is Coming Back

Remember the last minute cancellation of Simple Plan's show in August? Even though the Canadian pop punk group has been in China three times before, the singer's throat was still defeated by the Chinese air. They had to change the concerts into fan meetings, and now the band is fulfilling their promise of coming back. They are scheduled to play at Yugong Yishan on Jan 6 and here's a short video of them saying hello.

Simple Plan Beijing Concert
(Jan 6) Tickets available here. RMB 380, RMB 280 (advance). 7pm. Yugong Yishan

No one can guarantee that the bar will be there forever, but it's definitely still standing. You can catch Buyi there this Friday night.

She has glimpsed life's seediest sides time and again — from parades of transexual Roman hookers, to grade school field trips through New Orleans' Red Light District. There's hip-hop royalty and then there's Grandmaster Flash. The man brought the skills and innovations of the movement's original pioneers (don't sleep on DJ Kool Herc), perfected the techniques and took them to the public. Along with his Furious Five, Flash was the first hip-hop act to be inducted to the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2007. What more do we need to say about him? Well, he'll be playing at Yugong Yishan on April 28 – and the team at Street Hustle have given us a pair of tickets to give to one lucky reader. Read on to find out how to win a night of old school, new school and everything in between.
