2012 Feb 21 Beijing Restaurant Week Update: Mosto Reservations Lost, Diners Asked To Book Again

IMPORTANT: If you made a Beijing Restaurant Week reservation for Mosto on February 20 or February 21, you will need to reserve again.

Beijing Restaurant Week organizers DiningCity have informed us that due to a bug in the reservations system, all Mosto reservations made on Feb 20-21 have been lost.

DiningCity tell us that unfortunately they are unable to retrieve customers' reservation information or contact details, and request that anyone who had made a Mosto reservation should re-book as soon as possible via the Beijing Restaurant Week website. If you're booking before February 23, you can still use the pre-booking code we released yesterday (see below).

Reservations for Beijing Restaurant Week opened last Monday, exclusively for the Beijinger readers. Read more about how to pre-book seats on our blog here.

Revolutionary chef Ferran Adria is in Beijing for a flying visit today, visiting Nali Patio's stronghold of Spanish restaurants and hosting a demonstration class at Raffles Hotel's East 33 later this afternoon. We were fortunate enough to catch the elBulli mastermind on his tour of Nali - he visited Agua, Migas, Mosto, Niajo, Carmen and Taste Spain - and got a few snaps of the man who has been variously described as cooking's Salvador Dali (Gourmet magazine), Pablo Picasso (Rafael Anson, World's 50 Best Restaurants) and, ahem, Elvis Presley (New York Times). More to come later!
