2013 Jan 22 Wet and Wild Filming at Beijing's Water Cube

Think you’re extreme? Want to appear on TV? Now may be your chance with Xtreme Waterparks in Beijing and filming tomorrow at the Water Cube. Here’s all the information you need for to make your small screen debut.
American television program Xtreme Waterparks has dropped into town for some thrilling action at Beijing’s Happy Magic Water Cube and are looking for a group of friends to cast in a segment being filmed tomorrow.
If you and your pals are good-looking, fun-loving, outgoing, energetic, enthusiastic, between 20-35 years old, speak English and are comfortable with being filmed in a swimming suit (it will be broadcast in HD), you can spend a whole day riding the waves and shooting down the slides.
If all of that’s not incentive enough, they’re also offering each person 50 bucks (yes, that's US dollars) to participate, plus they'll take care of expenses for the day.
Anyone interested can contact the producers by emailing bstaley@highnoontv.com or bschoede@highnoontv.com, but seeing as how it may be too late for that, you can always try and show up tomorrow, too.

Previous parks to appear on the show have included Noah's Ark, Schlitterbahn, World Waterpark at West Edmonton Mall, Disney's Blizzard Beach, Wet 'n Wild - Orlando, Six Flags Hurricane Harbor and Six Flags White Water. You can check out the first episode of the show on the other side of the firewall here.

Earlier this month we blogged about the opening of the Magic Happy Water Cube Waterpark and we recently had a chance to check it out (and see if it’s worth the RMB 200 admission).
Beijing Water Cube Water Park Is Now Open!
After all the suspense about its future, last month we noted the Beijing Water Cube's Indoor Water Park was slated to open on the second anniversary of the Beijing Olympics. The Olympic Games may be long gone but a nagging uncertainty over what to do with the iconic Birds Nest, which has gone from waidi (外地) tourist attraction, to would-be football stadium, possible shopping mall and a temporary "Snow and Ice World," has lingered ever since.
