Final Countdown: Last Call for Votes

The polls are closing at the end of the day. If you haven't yet put in your vote, make sure to visit here and submit your ballot now for the Beijinger's Tenth Annual Reader Restaurant Awards.

In response to objections (including our own) across the region to last month's list of "Asia's 50 Best Restaurants," The Wall Street Journal discussed how the restaurants were chosen, giving some helpful insight to the origins and aims behind the ranking. They relay an organizer's explanation:

Ms. Tyler said the ranking is “an industry list, not a consumer list,” and called it a reflection of current trends and business travel patterns for those who work in the culinary sector.

Our list very much is a consumers' list – the title says it all. So whether you agree or disagree with "Asia's 50 Best," we're sure you have opinions on Beijing's own offerings. We want to hear them and share them, and the city's restauranteurs do too. Have you not seen all the yellow signs littering dining tables around town the past month?

Vote here for your favorite Beijing eateries.
