Sláinte! Get Your Green and Guinness on This Weekend

Everyone is Irish on St. Patrick's Day. Of course, by "is Irish" we mean "has a good reason to get hammered." Check out our St. Paddy's Day guide below to plan your weekend celebrations.

Brussels Bar and Restaurant
Brussels will be serving green cocktails, beer, shooters, and Murphy's ice cream floats for their "Pretend to be Irish (even if you actually are)" celebrations on Saturday, March 16 and Sunday, March 17.

Great Leap Brewing
Celebrate Ireland's patron saint with five different stouts: Original, Chai Masala, Nutmeg, Chocolate and Mocha. Pick and choose which to sample, or get free-flow beer for RMB 200. Saturday, March 16 and Sunday, March 17.

The James Joyce
Stop by on Sunday, March 17 for green beer and T-shirt giveaways at this Sanlitun Irish pub. They'll have happy hour specials on Ireland's most famous brews, including RMB 40 Guinness, Murphy's, and Kilkenny's, and RMB 55 Magners before 8pm.

Kerry Hotel
Keep it classy this St. Paddy's Day at the 2013 Irish Ball. Tickets go for RMB 1,000 per person.

Lush
The Wudaokou bar is celebrating the end of its Rush Week with a St. Paddy's Day Open Mic on Sunday, March 17. If you need tons of liquid courage to get on stage, take advantage of their all-day RMB 15 Guinness deal, or snag some lucky jello shots.

Main Street Restaurant and Bar
Head to Main Street for RMB 30 Irish Car Bombs all weekend long, starting on Friday.

Malty Dog Brewery
Spend Saturday, March 16 at Malty Dog's St. Paddy's Day Frisky Disco for a night of dancing with music from Max At Large. You'll be feeling mighty frisky (or perhaps just dizzy) with their All-Day Draft Beer Open Bar for RMB 230. If you're not up for an all-day drink-a-thon, you can start at 8pm for RMB 180, or hit up the noon-8pm open bar for RMB 100.

Murphy’s ShamRock ‘n Roll Pub Crawl
Head to Brussels between 5-5:30pm to register, then follow the booze trail to Black Sun Bar, Tim’s Texas BBQ, Take 5, and the Stumble Inn, and collect ten free pints of Murphy’s along the way. Dress in your slickest St. Paddy's ensemble and you just might win a prize. RSVP required.

Slow Boat Brewery Taproom
Slow Boat’s weekend-long celebration starts with an Irish drinking song sing-along tonight from 8pm-1am. Pair your drunken wailing with their St. Paddy’s Day Stout. The party continues on Saturday, March 16 between 2pm and 2am, when you’ll get the St. Paddy’s Day Stout for RMB 25 if you ask for it in an Irish accent — real or fake. If you’re not good with accents, just show up in head-to-toe green for a free pitcher of beer. Also on the agenda: jigging, Jameson, and Irish car bombs. On Sunday, Slow Boat is holding a St. Paddy's Day brunch from noon to 5pm to help you gear up for another day of partying.

The Stumble Inn
ShamRock 'n Roll pub crawlers will get two free pints Saturday night at this Irish-run Sanlitun spot. On Sunday, March 17, they'll keep the Murphy's flowing and reward a few festively dressed partygoers. Catch some traditional Irish tunes from Blackwater starting at 9pm.

We contacted Paddy's Irish Pub and Paddy O'Shea's and were told it will be business as usual this weekend.
