Meaty McDonald’s: Double Sausage and Beef in Your Bun

Since True Run Media recently decided to join the World Health Store 12-Week Challenge, we are super-stoked to see that McDonald's released a Sausage Double Beef Burger in China this week. Here’s the lowdown from Foodbeast.com:

McDonald’s China is now serving Sausage Double Beef Burgers. We know, we want this juicy beast of flavor in our paws right NAO. With two beef patties and two plump sausages drizzled with mustard, the bun seems to be more of an afterthought. We’re guessing Mickey D’s corp begrudgingly included the bread but what they really wanted to do was make something like this. The Sausage Double Beef Burger is priced at 17.50 yuan ($2.82 US).

All that protein should be great for our muscles and the dribbles of grease will be lip-smacking good. The sodium can be easily washed down with half a liter of Coke Zero. To cut out the carbs, just throw the bun away – there will still be plenty of sustenance left.

Before you run out the door to get your fingers wrapped around this bad boy, make sure you get the Chinese wording right so they don't screw up your order (because we know that never happens):

我要一个德式烤肠双层牛堡套餐,加大。要零度可乐。
Wǒ yào yīgè Déshì Kǎocháng Shuāngcéng Niúbǎo tàocān, jiā dà. Yào língdù kělè.
I want one Sausage Double Beef Burger meal, supersize. Oh, and make it a Coke Zero.

Are you as excited as we are about this new fast food item? The burger is intense.
