Talking Tunes: Show Your Metal

We're currently putting together the November issue of the Beijinger, so this is a brief round-up of the more notable music events over the next few days. Tomorrow (Oct 25) sees Finnish hevy metal band Amorphis move in on Yugong Yishan. That's them up there with their track "From the Heaven of My Heart."

If metal ain't your thing, then you're bang out of luck on Sunday night (Oct 27) at Yugong Yishan as German thrash titans Kreator take over for the night supported by Japanese outfit Fastkill, Suffocated and Bad Mamasan.

Elsewhere, on Friday night (Oct 25) one man orchestra Pipo Del Mare swings by Modernista.

If you're looking for something sooner than that, then why not check out the Open Mic Night at 4corners tonight (Oct 24)?

What Bar is hosting a night of indie and Britpop on Friday (Oct 25) at their Shiver Me Timbres event. While over at Temple on the same night, Whai play with local DJ Mickey Zhang.
