"Low" Rapper T-Pain in Vics This Friday

Following the likes of Akon and Sean Kingston comes American circa 2005 rapper, T-Pain (or, as we like to announce it, T-Paaaaiiiiinnn!!!!) to Beijing on Friday, December 3 at Vics. You may remember T-Pain's well-named "I'm N Luv (Wit a Stripper)" from Rappa Ternt Sagga from your school days, or from his hit "Low" made in conjunction with Flo Rida, whose video won top accolades at the MTV Video Music Awards in 2008.

Doors open at 8.30pm, and you can get your presale tickets for RMB 150 (RMB 200 at the door). Vics will "Buy You a Drank" to go along with your ticket, but how you take it from there is up to you.

These days, you can hear T-Pain's autotuned croon alongside big names like Lil Wayne, Chris Brown, Snoop Dogg, Nelly, and Wiz Khalifa, and, most notably, in a 2011 collaboration with Benny Benassi in "Electroman" (listen to a rave-worthy Congorock remix here). You never know when he'll pop into one of those Top 40 songs, but you'll find signature sound in his new LP, "Stoicville: The Phoenix," which is scheduled to drop next year.
