WIN: 2 Vouchers for Newman Tours' New China in 50 Objects Tour

Inspired by the New York Times bestseller A History of New York in 50 Objects, local tour provider Newman Tours is launching a new public tour entitled "China in 50 Objects" and we have a voucher for two adults to give away.

Held at the imposing National Museum on Tiananmen Square, the tour traces the history of China from 4,000-year-old bronzes through to Silk road Buddhist sculptures and beyond. The tour runs Sundays 2-4pm and the price (RMB 190 for adults, RMB 120 for children) includes free entry to the National Musum (don't forget you will need your passport to enter the museum).

To be in with a chance of winning the voucher, email your name and the answer to the following question to win@thebeijinger.com:

What did 19th century pharmacists think they were working with when they ground up priceless ancient oracle bones?

Newman Tours will be publishing clues to help you answer this question on their Facebook and WeChat accounts (138 1777 0229) so keep an eye out!

If you want to check out the tour anyway, see their website for booking information.
