Run, Eat, Shop, and Play at Harrow International School Beijing

On your mark, get set, go … to Harrow International School Beijing (HISB) this Sunday (Apr 19) for Harrowthon, an annual charity run that brings together runners and spectators from all over Beijing. The event will include a 3K, a 5k, and a 10k race and will kick off with an aerobics warm-up led by the fun-loving group from Heyrobics.

Not into running? Not a problem. In conjunction with Harrowthon, this year the school will hold its first annual Health and Happiness Festival. The Health and Happiness Festival will feature a farmer’s market with over 60 stalls promoting different ways to enhance health and a variety of international foods to tempt every palate. For the little ones, there will be a bouncy castle, pony rides, face paintings, live animals, and a picture booth to commemorate the good times.

Last year’s Harrowthon raised over RMB 55,000 for local charity Alenah’s Home and this year HISB hopes to exceed that amount. Whether you’re a festival-goer or a racer, this event is open to the whole Beijing community. See below for details on how to take part in this worthy cause:
