Bring your own camera, and the instructors will do the rest. RMB 400 (or RMB 300 for members) and the workshop runs between 2.30 and 6pm. Your instagram followers are going to love this.

The Arrival of Spring
At Pace Beijing until June 6

The British Council is proud to present David Hockney's work in Beijing: one of the most influential British artists of the 20th century and an important contributor to the 1960s pop art movement.

Pace Beijing is featuring his work done on iPad, titled The Arrival of Spring, originally displayed at the Royal Academy of Art in London.

As If a Presence
At Meridian Space until May 29
At Jiali Gallery until June 6

As If a Presence, or Comme une presence in French, is a proposal for cultural and interdisciplinary exchange between a recognized French writer, Belinda Cannone, a French visual artist, Charlotte Guibe, and a Chinese visual artist, Ren Bo.

The exhibition plays with the interdisciplinary circumnavigations between images and the written word including the view of the writer on the work of a visual artist.

Spring Rite Silkscreen Print Exhibition
At Ever-art Club until June 13

An exhibition displaying silkscreen prints from eight Chinese artists from three different generations. The silkscreen prints offer a feminist perspective of environmental concern. Artists on display are Ling Shen, Chengwen Yang, Ke Chen, Ping Yan, Yuping Wang, Yi Wu, Mingzhong Wu, and Changjiang Zhang.

Please call 139 1105 3376 a day in advance if you want to take a trip down there on a weekend, or just pass by any day of the week.

Goats in the Month of May by Lionel Sabatte
At Yishu 8 until June 20

Part of the 2015 French Cultural Festival, this exhibition pays tribute to the Chinese calendar, and the year of the Goat, Lionel Sabatte presents his work: a poetic fusion born of French and Chinese cultures as his works presented were created when the French artist visited China in 2010 and 2014.

The exhibition features sculptures that have taken shape from tea and ancient Chinese coins, and paintings on canvas that play with the phantasmagorical, giving rise to animals that align themselves both with natural and mythical criteria.
