UCCA Discussion: Codex Seraphinianus with Author Luigi Serafini

Luigi Serafini, author of the Codex Seraphinianus aka ‘The World’s Weirdest Book’, will grace Beijing with his presence at the UCCA on June 6, 3-5pm, to discuss his book and the origins of his particular species.

Codex Seraphinianus resembles an encyclopedia from an alternate universe, is written in an indecipherable language, and has captured the minds of many with its internal logic: the discussion aims to allow Serafini to reveal more about the elusive world he captured.

At the talk, titled "An Untrodden World", Serafini will be joined by a guest speakers Hong Ying (author), Fang Lijun (artist), and Meng Jinghui (director), promising an in-depth dissection of the book as viewed from multiple disciplines.

The event is free, but don’t forget to RSVP. To book your place, call the UCCA (5780 0200) between Tuesday and Friday, 10am-6.30pm. You can only book one place at a time.
