Shenzhen Airlines to Initiate Beijing to Osaka Flights

Here's a name we don't mention often: Shenzhen Airlines is initiating direct service to Osaka from Beijing beginning July 1, with flight ZH9015 slated to depart Beijing at 1.35pm, arriving at 5.50pm. Business travelers in China now spend about USD 250 billion per year on business travel, according to the South China Morning Post. I feel like we've reported on that before. That number is expected to double by 2025. That's a lot of business travel.

Not too much other travel news this week, except for the unpleasantness that we reported on Tuesday.
