EAT: BJ Foodies Dinner, Greek Wine Dinner, and New Brunches

Plenty of dining events to keep you full and happy this week.

First up, this Wednesday, July 22, Caravan is teaming up with CWS and Mihalis Boutaris Selections to pair Greek wines with Moroccan food for an evening entitled "Nothing to Feel Blue About." Tickets are RMB 298 including all wines and a four course dinner. RSVP to caravanbeijing@outlook.com

If you're in the Gulou area, there are a couple of new brunch spots to add to your rotation:

The Meatball Company are now doing near weekly Sunday brunches at their store on Dashibei Hutong. Last weekend's three course menu (priced at just RMB 100 per person, by the way) featured a collaboration with Rager Pies for a chicken meatball quiche. We like the sound of that. Get in touch with them on WeChat at themeatballcompany to see what brunches are going on and to RSVP.

Finally, Modernista have revamped their weekend brunch menu, with a variety of sets priced RMB 60-75, featuring dishes such as homemade sausages, eggs Benedict, and homemade ravioli. Apparently more than 100 people went by on the first day, so be sure to call 136 9142 5744 or email modernistabj@yahoo.com to guarantee a table.
