This Week in Health and Fitness: Sign Up Now for Juice By Melissa's 2016 Fall Beijing Health Week

This Week in Health and Fitness looks at the latest fitness and health goings on in Beijing so you can life your #bestlife.

Strap on your sneakers and dig out your snazziest leggings, because Beijing Health Week is back for a new fall session following a successful inaugural run back in May. Organized by Juice by Melissa, 2016 Fall Beijing Health Week will run from October 23-29 and features fitness classes, events, and activities from Beijing's top health and fitness brands. Going forward, JBM plans to hold one Health Week every season, a week to, in their words, "solely focus on our minds, bodies, and souls."

Partners for this iteration of Beijing Health Week include Yoga Yard, Crossfit Slash, GuavaPass, Gu Cycle, Ms. Uptown, Zamani Collection, and Glo Kitchen + Fitness. There will also be events such as guided runs and hikes, many of which (unsurprisingly) start or finish at Juice By Melissa. So whether you're a fan of high impact or low impact exercise, this is a great opportunity to try out a new form of exercise (I, for one, plan to take my first, timid steps into the world of CrossFit) or a new gym, such as newly-opened spinning and barre studio Space Cycle in Taikoo Li North.

Fall Beijing Health Week kicks off at 11am on Sunday, October 23 with an opening ceremony at Conrad Beijing, featuring a yoga class with Yoga Yard's Robyn Wexler, a healthy brunch, a cheeky cold-pressed Bloody Mary or Mimosa from JBM, and a chance to register for Health Week activities in person. Sign up for RMB 100 per person here.

Space is limited for many of the events, so make sure you sign up sooner rather than later. Fees may apply for some classes. Scan the QR code below or click here to view more details and sign up.

It is also worth noting that Health Week participants get a 15 percent discount off all Juice By Melissa's juice cleanses when you show your wristband in-store, or state your name and which classes you have attended online.
