Don't Neglect Your Civic Duty!: Less Than 24 Hours Left to Cast Votes in the Pizza Cup's Sweet 16

The quest to find Beijing’s best pizzeria reaches a decisive juncture tomorrow, as our foodie citizens take a bite out of the upper crust, eight establishments will progress further, while the other eight will see their push for pie supremacy unravel. The stakes (and yummy factor) couldn’t be higher, as many of the current matchups are at a statistical dead heat – just a handful of votes could sway the capital’s foodscape toward one pizza or the other.

Is Gung Ho! worthy of a three-peat? Does Bottega or Luga’s have better Neapolitan-style pizza? Does Kro’s Nest deserve to be higher up on the pecking order? You, my foodie friends, decide!

Therefore, if you haven’t already, now is the perfect time to go to the pizza polls to have your pizza preferences heard. Do so simply by clicking here or by clicking on the banner below!

Here’s an overview of our current pizza primary battles:

Finally, an important reminder: the hallmark of any strong democracy (albeit a foodie democracy) is an informed electorate. Are you a palatably savvy? Or does tomato sauce and cheese-that-tastes-like-plastic slathered over some bread suffice?

It’s up to you to become informed. Our Pies for the People campaign is still ongoing, therefore we urge you to take advantage of these drop-dead, amazing deals while they’re still available – and in the process of doing so, you’ll be helping make pizzas great again folks (and yes, that’s straight up a real thing, seriously check it out)!
