New Contenders at This Year's Annual Cookie Monster Charity Bake-Off at The Hutong, Mar 19

This year's Cookie Monster Charity Bake-Off is just around the corner, and we've got a sneak peek into this year's cookies battling it out for the title.

The annual event sees 20 of the city's bakers get together in attempt to impress the city's hungriest cookie monsters (you guys) before the results go up against each other in a vote. Bakers will also be selling bags of their cookies for you to take home, with a cut of the proceeds going to charity (specific organization TBA).

Sarina Zhou, one of this year's bakers has entered the competition with her brown butter pistachio dark chocolate sea salt cookie (pictured at the top), while Anoopa Anna is packing her ultimate chocolate hob nobs (see below).

The event takes place on March 19 this year, and is always lots of fun. Entrance is RMB 150 (RMB 100 for members of the The Hutong), which includes sample bites of all 20 cookies and one cup of warm milk. You'll also be able to buy hot chocolate and hot toddy's throughout.

One-hundred percent of raffle tickets and a portion of the entrance ticket and cookie sales will all be donated to a local charity, so there really is no reason not to release your inner glutton, completely guilt free. If we can give you one piece of advice, it's to make sure you come hungry, because 20 cookie samples is way more than it might seem (we speak from overzealous experience).
