Throwback Thursday with Nasty Ray
Every Thursday at Migas is a window to the past. This throwback Thursday, Beijing’s own Nasty Ray is giving you old-school hip-hop vibes. Listen to classic jams while enjoying Migas’ special themed hip-hop combo menu to fuel you all night long. Special menu will be served from 6pm-10.30pm and DJ Nasty Ray will start spinning at 10pm. Catch some dope beats and fresh rhymes, and get yourself in the right rhythm for the weekend. 10pm-4.30am. Free. Migas

Bye Bye Disco Presents Liman
Electronic music DJ Limans has been a prominent figure in China’s nightlife scene for the past 12 years. Not only has he been chosen regularly to spin at large venues and music festivals, he has also performed with world class DJs such as A-Trak, Boys Noize, and Steve Aoki. DJ Limans has had multiple tours of his own in over 10 Chinese cities. This Friday, he will stop in Beijing to perform a set. 10pm-late. Price TBA. Dada

Cinco de Mayo at Q Mex
Celebrate Cinco de Mayo or Mexican Independence Day at Q Mex. Exclusively on this special day, Q Mex will offer Tequila shots, burritos, and themed cocktails at discounted prices. Tequila shots are RMB 10, all burritos except size XXL are RMB 55, and there will be two themed cocktails – Cinco’ritas (RMB 55) and Bandera Shots (RMB 35). Soulja Boy at Mix 
Watch him crank it, watch him roll – the OG Soulja Boy will be performing at Club Mix. This rapper and once viral sensation is making a stop in Beijing this Friday. He has been in the rap scene since he went viral for "Crank That" in 2007. Moreover, Soulja Boy also heads his own record label, Stacks on Deck Entertainment. Dope Flow Freestyle Battle
ModernSky Lab is hosting the Dope Flow Freestyle Battle, Beijing’s own version of Wild ‘n Out. This weekend, the city’s best rappers will square off. Not only will the winner will be crowned rap king, they will also win prizes. Beats will be provided by DJ 4tel, Nasty Ray and Boom, and judging the battle will be Ijapa Banton and Jiggy. Seis de Mayo with Club Paradise at The Other Place
Put on your sombreros and head over to The Other Place to commemorate Seis de Mayo with fellow party-goers and Club Paradise DJs. It will be a day filled with festive booze, funky tropical and Mexican tunes, as well as BBQ! On the deck this Saturday will be DJs Ted Dancin', Saucy, Chloe, Gary Boozy, Rothwell, and special guest Count of Monte Disco. Twelve years after its founding, The Bunker is stronger than it has ever been and continues to grow, thanks to Kasenic's vision and effort. Cheers Sixth Anniversary Party
To celebrate Cheers’ sixth anniversary, a party will be held at the 1949 Hidden City Courtyard, where the entry is free and the sparkling wine is free flowing. There will also be munchies to alternate between sips of alcohol, featuring vendors from Crepanini and Andy’s Sausages. Sunday, May 7

Disco 2000 – An Industry Night
8-Bit is trying to challenge the norm by shifting the start of weekend to Sunday. Since 8-Bit have Mondays off, they decided to invite people to party with them, in the off chance that you also have Mondays off. Join DJ Sake Gin and friends while you wet your whistle with special drinks. Guests are encouraged to request songs and sing karaoke (participants get a free shot). Booze is super cheap with Happy Hour starting at 6pm-8pm and there are also deals on wine, cocktails, and shots. Make Sunday feel like it’s Friday all over again! 6pm-2am. Free. 8-Bit
