Acclaimed Miami Bartender and Former Model Micaela Piccolo at Janes and Hooch, May 14

She's modeled for Levi's and Vogue magazine, mixed tempting enough drinks to make a rising bar scene star in both Miami and New York, and hosted a web series alongside an Iron Chef.

Yes, few bartenders have as varied a resume as Micaela Piccolo, meaning she'll likely have plenty of fantastic stories to share during her guest appearance at Janes and Hooch on May 14. These days, Piccolo is based in Shanghai as the Asia Pacific Brand Ambassador for Maison Ferrand, for which she touts a wide range of artisanal spirits in 13 countries. But before that, she made a name for herself in Miami by heading up the menu creation and staff training at Sweet Liberty, which snagged the Best New American Bar Award 2016 from Tales of the Cocktail.

From there, she became head bartender at the classy Distilled bar in New York's glitzy Tribeca neighborhood. Several lifestyle outlets like Town & Country Magazine, New York Daily, InStyle.com, and Thrillist.com all took notice and spotlighting her drinks in enthused feature articles. That lead to her creating some high profile media content of her own on Men's Health's site, where she co-hosted a web series in 2014 with famed Iron Chef reality TV contest Michael Symon, where they shared food and drink recipes (see an example here).

Be it PR, fashion shoots, or slinging flavorful cocktails behind the bar, it seems like there's nothing Piccolo can't do, making her Beijing appearance a can't miss happening for the capital's cocktail enthusiasts.

Micaela Piccolo will be working behind the bar and on hand for a meet and greet at Janes and Hooch on May 14 from 9pm till late.
