Beijing’s gay and lesbian scene has been rapidly growing and with it, the selection of pink venues and organizations catering to Chinese and foreigners alike. The following is a selection of places and organizers that proudly fly the rainbow flag.

The bar that was once Plan B has been taken over and renovated by six college kids. In fact, Space Club is almost entirely student-staffed. These guys recognize that when your motto is “By students, for students,” selling beers and cocktails from RMB 10 is a good start.
