I've recently moved to Beijing and I'm looking to get a better understanding of China as a country, and hopefully make some local friends while improving my Chinese and helping someone improve their English. My Chinese is very much at the beginner level but I'm keen to improve as quickly as possible and I am hoping a language partner might be the way to go.

I'm in my late twenties and pretty sociable so interested in meeting someone who I get along with, maybe someone who is interested in catching up for some live music and a drink during the evenings to practice, while also enjoying all Beijing has to offer.

Looking for someone to spend new year eve and teach me snowboarding

I am alone on New Year Eve. Any westerners would like to spend that evening together with me? And I also hope to meet someone who's good at snowboarding and would love to teach me. We can go to the suburb snowboarding someday during the Spring Festival.
