Weekly Group Meditation

You are invited to join a weekly group meditation activity in Sanlitun. It is held once or twice a week, usually at a week night but sometimes on a weekend as well. If you don't think you can commit to coming regularly, please refrain from writing or inquiring.

Usually we have around 4-8 people. Some regular comers plus a few new members each time. Group meditation is usually 30 minutes in silence whereby everybody sits in there own way. Sometimes there are guidance given by more experienced meditaters. There are sharings of various kinds each time as well. Afterwards we exchange our feelings or observations.

Hi,

If you are here in Beijing with kids you’ve probably learned there is not much to offer in the form of family entertainment centers. The play centers that are here pretty much leave parents to observe without actively participating or connecting with their child. Another thing is that the centers offered only attractive children of a certain younger age and are basically designed to exhaust a child’s energy without having taught them much of anything.

I have an idea that will take some real business smarts, a bit of guanxi pulling and a decent amount of capital to develop, however once it is all said in done there aren’t many families in Beijing that would want to make repeated use of this facility.

Hello,

As the title says I am not offering a job, sorry!

I have been living in Beijing for about 1 and half year and I think is time to move my chinese working experience to the next level...
I have many ideas, I have tried one but it didn't start basically because I was the only one who had a clue of what I was doing and now I don't want to make the same mistake.
My expertise and ideas rotate around an IT-like company...what? I am flexible to the output as long as is a profitable venture and not a waste of time.

ADDENDUM:
I came up with an idea for a Chinese/English portal related to publishing and travelling. I am now developing the idea into a business model and I will probably move on that direction. Anyway I am multitasking and can manage to deal with multiple projects if you have a worthy idea yourself.

Came to Beijing a couple months ago. I am currently taking Chinese classes at the beginner level and would love to practice oral Chinese maybe a couple times a week. Don't believe the hype about all the "good" guys only chasing locals and not being interested in foreign women.
