Don't believe the hype about all the "good" guys only chasing locals and not being interested in foreign women. I'm a mid-30's professional from the U.S., tall, good-looking and in decent shape, well-traveled, well-read, and (believe it or not) well-adjusted. I'm quietly unconventional, aspire to creativity, outdoorsy but not outgoing, artsy but unpretentious, open-minded yet stubborn, and very intelligent but not always smart.

I happen to be attracted most to a woman who is strong, intelligent, independent, confident, opinionated, and who has her own goals and ambitions.

I enjoy good food, rambling conversation, long walks (seriously, you'll need comfortable shoes if you spend time with me), creative pursuits, hanging out with friends, quiet times together, but also time apart to do my own thing (as you certainly need yourself, too). I don't particularly care for loud, crowded bars (unless there's live, original music by a band that I'm there to see).
