Culture Yard’s Beginner Level Evening Chinese course is an innovative programme designed for complete beginners. It combines conversational Chinese learning with material from the HSK Level 1 test. As a foreign-run language school we know how important conversational skills are to survive in Beijing, which is why our courses are focused on speaking and listening - in order to make your new Chinese lifestyle much easier.

After 50 hours of classroom teaching, learners will be able to use at least 150 basic Chinese words and recognise 50 Chinese characters.

We will cover the following topics:

2、Giving and requesting information (such as name, age, address, family members, hobbies, skills)

3、Expressing gratitude and apologizing

4、Asking and telling the time (minutes, hours, days, weeks, months, year etc.)
