Hi, I'm looking for somebody to rent a hutong house within the Gulou - Chaoyangmen - Zhangzizhonglu area, my budget is about 2500-3500. Only particular requirements housewise are that it has an individual courtyard (just big enough to put a BBQ in!), and a Western toilet INSIDE the house.
About me: British guy, 22, works in marketing. This is my third year in China and I speak relatively decent Chinese. I like socialising, drinking, live music, food, movies and reading. I've already started looking but need a housemate to share the place with.If you think we'd be compatible then please get in touch!!

The apartment is 2 big bdrms/2 big bthrms, 120sqm with a huge living room(2 sofas,TV,heating system,water cooler), dining room, kitchen and utility room. Rental cost is 4200rmb/month,shared internet and utilities (cleaning lady/water/electricity/gas is around 175RMB/month).

It's in a very tidy well kept community across the road from a lovely park, Lama Temple is very centralized, so most everything is at your fingertips, or only a short distance away.
