This is really not a fair comparison at all. Firstly the one critical drawback for foreign residents of Beijing trying to use Uber is the fact you have to resort to using overseas credit cards to pay because alipay is not applicable for foreigners. This essentially means if you're not merely just passing through Beijing, you need to keep sending money home to facilitate frequent taxi usage. Dididache accepts cash and weixin money (which is useable for foreigners when you set up netbanking)
Secondly a glaringly obvious criticism would be the fact that you did a public taxi vs private driver-esque service comparison. what you needed to do was click the 专车 (zhuanche/special car) button instead of the 出租车 (chuzuche/taxicab) button. This makes a world of difference. In fact it appears that dididache is still subsidising that option. I frequently run up fairs of 50rmb and only pay 30rmb. The special car option in dididache is essentially ubers competition; you get a nice car, free water and usb charging.
FYI i have also tried the baidu private cab option and it was expensive but similar to the private car option for dididache. seeing as kuaidiche and dididache are market leaders what might have been more interesting would have been to see a comparison between kuaidiche, dididache and uber.
