Mercedes me Opens in Sanlitun: Shiny One-Stop Shop for Your Lifestyle Needs

It's incredible what has been lurking behind the scaffolding on the construction site of the new Intercontinental Hotel: the new Mercedes me opposite Taikoo Li, in between The Bookworm and Sanlitun Soho, is absolutely huge. And that's no surprise, because in total the site holds two restaurants, a bar, and a juice bar.

The space, operated by Cakeshop Originals, is the world's largest Mercedes me venue, at over 2,400 square meters.

This includes the me Cafe, which will have a Southeast Asian menu and where people can expect to pay between RMB 70 and 80 a head for a meal, including a juice bar by me Cafe called me Cafe Express. This is also where you'll be able to get Yunnan coffee.

Then there is Lighthaus, a cosmopolitan watering hole, and a modern Chinese restaurant called Sifang Sanchuan completes the dining scene here, where meals run about RMB 120-150 per person.

On the retail side, there is plenty of Mercedes-Benz merchandise for fans, and there is of course no shortage of cars of plenty of different sizes strewn around the space.

From April 25, Mercedes me is open to the public. We will bring you more specifics on the food and drink available inside this architectural marvel as it becomes available.

Food is so-so. Seems they have all been pre-prepared. You order and in less than 5 minutes you get it. Happened on both times we were there. And based on presentation, seems like it was all just slopped in there. Sad. For the price of it, I could've gone somewhere better.

Coffee after meal took 15 minutes to arrive, although in the end they took it from the bill which was a nice gesture.

i just lived here..200meters lol
