A Food Affaire

Tucked into a corner of the April Gourmet on Xingfuyicun, A Food Affaire is a convenient spot for grocery shoppers looking to grab some Western food for a quick lunch or dinner. The selection includes dips like hummus and duck pate; ready-made Tomato Mozzarella or Caesar salads; freshly squeezed fruit juices; homemade pumpkin, lemon, and apple pies; as well as over ten different types of lasagnas. Be forewarned, though – such goodies are often sold out before noon, so you have to get there early.

I have been to the 'A Food Affair' deli counter many times, my favorite items are the home-made pumkin pie, pasta and the roasted stuffed chicken... it remind me of my mom's secret recipes and her kitchen skills

Excellent biz lunch

We ordered a roast pork to A Food Affaire for a company business lunch in our office.

The meat was excellent and the cooking perfect, believe me, it is rare to find a catering delivering a roastpork that is not dry.

Will come back...for sure !

Please Simon, get us a delivery menu !!!

:-)

Great Food, Great Service

I ordered a Turkey Dinner from Simon (the proprietor) only two days before Thanksgiving and he was able to provide a full dinner for ten people including all the sides with only that short notice and on top of his other orders. He was very generous and made sure to give me plenty of extra stuffing As Thanksgiving just isn't Thanksgiving without lots of good stuffing. The food was great and I would definitely and will order again, in fact I plan to for Christmas dinner. I wholeheartedly recommend A Food Affaire whenever you are craving some home cooked western favourites.

Pretty damn convenient, just wish there were more

Popped in for the first time and bought a salad, smoked salmon platter and tatziki sauce last weekend at their April Gourmet store - definitely a winning concept. The food was indeed reasonably fresh and moderately priced. Definitely hope they can branch out to other areas around town (like Shuangjing, hint hint)
