In a previous review I noted that BANG BANG was a great place to get a drink and an okay place to get food.

Since that time, BB has revamped their menu and made great strides in improving the quality of the grub. It still isn't going to win any Michelin stars, but the food is quite decent, and certainly is on par with other Shuangjing laowai hangouts like Lily's and Grinders.

In spring and summer they put tables and chairs out front, making for great al fresco drinking/dining/hanging - something the aforementioned joints don't have.

The beer is cold, the management is eager and friendly, and the waitstaff are decent. Can't ask for much more than that from a good neighborhood pub.

If anything, Bang Bang is an overlooked neighborhood gem that deserves the same accolades and attention that other local spots seem to get.

Had my first sit-down eating experience at Bang Bang last week and was impressed. Pizza was great. Pasta was great. Calamari was great. Only thing was the fried cheese balls - A side of marinara sauce would bring them up a notch rather than the balsamic vinagerette. Overall, expectations weren't too high, but was very impressed.

Come for the drinks, eat the very affordable pizza to sop up the drinks in your belly, and drink more with good people until the sun rises. For an all night bender there is no better place in Beijing.

Just what Shuangjing needed, a great place to hang out with good pizza and a nice selection of cold beers. And you don't even have to leave the Hopson Int. area or head over to the Landgent Center.

I went to Bang! Bang! for the first time last night and had a great time.
The restaurant is very chill, and I see myself coming back here more often now that the weather is nicer and they have tables out on the patio as well.

The place is clean, the food was good, the staff was friendly and attentive. The owner was also there which i really find makes a difference. It was nice to find a place that wasn't too noisy and i could enjoy a nice saturday night with a few friends.

Oh yeah, they deliver

Just had the best pizza i've tasted in beijing, and this is coming from a pizza lover!!! Staff are great, especially Juley!! People are sound, the bar is cool and music is just as good as the pizza. Basically, screw Domino's f#@# Pappa John's and get your asses down to Bang Bang!!!!!

We went to Bang Bang Pizza the other night hoping that the pizza would live up to it's fun name and pack a real punch. We were pretty disappointing. The atmosphere is pretty nice - open, clean, and not smoky - but the pizza lacked soul. It wasn't thick enough to be hearty, not crunch enough to make a good thin crust. But it was a bar pizza, and if you've had a couple of their really cheap yet good quality beers, it would be the perfect snack. They are quite small though, so if you've got a drunken appetite, I would say one pizza per person.

neighborhood place, reminds me of New York
