it got a nice terrace. it is a decent venue, i have seen the renovations.
the drinks are pretty pricey

Rooftop was indeed nice, the inner part was ok, but the bartenders charge you as much as they can, i found myself even haggling for me and my friends round.

Even after the haggling, the drinks were very expensive, after experiencing my first haggle on a bar, i regreted it and couldn't enjoy any more :(,I payed drinks to go home, if it wasn't for that i would be probably rating 4/5, but as it is, 1/5 is more than generous

I recomend to go with a sober friend so "stuff" like this doesn't happen

I read of this website about free drink for ladies every saturday from 8 to 10 p.m. during March. But when we came yesterday, the waiter was surprised she let hear about this first time from us. I can buy drinks myself. Just i dont understand why do you write there untruth??

Friends and I went here to hang out and get some drinks. Another friend and I had bought some RMB 3 beers from outside before coming in. They do have a policy of no outside drinks in the place which is fine, but the lady working in the bar just came over and snatched the beers away from us and threw them away and proceeded to give us this dirty look from hell... no warning no nothing. My friend was even in the middle of drinking his when it happened. I understand they have this policy so that we'd buy drinks from them, but our other friends had already been ordering drinks from them, and the lady just took it too far by not even warning or asking us as is usually the case at other bars. Will never ever go back.

Music in Bar Blu is what defines Sanlitun clubs, especially on weekends. Although the dancing area is not that big, the atmosphere is great. But don't dare order anything to drink as you'll empty your pocket quickly! I think for a Tongli club, Bar Blu charges too much on drinks. So, the trick is to drink at other clubs downstairs and go to Bar Blu to dance. LOL Oh, WED quiz nights are fun, too. Just don't take it too seriously.

Went with a bunch of friends on a weekday. Service was nothing to complain or revel about. However, the music was WAY too loud, especially considering the lack of noise from the sparsely filled room. There is no reason to blast music at such dangerous decibels to the point where you need to scream at the person next to you to make sure you're heard. I'm usually ok with the risk of damaging my eardrums as long as the music is good...totally not the case with this place.

This place never disappoints you. Good music, beautiful crowd and great drinks. Highly recommended.
