I liked the selection of new imported beers. Service was good ,and the place wasnt crowded when 3 of us came in around 8pm.
The music played was fine too. The beer was served chilled.

I went the other night for the first time after it recently re-opened. The new place is fantastic, the extra space gives much better layout for groups to hang out, the long awaited new toilets are in !!, the terrace is larger, there's a pool table with a foosball table coming soon. The crowd was a good mix of ex-pats and Chinese.
They still have a great selection of Belgian Beers at reasonable prices and friendly, attentive bar staff. Although the staff may be lacking a little in knowledge of the beers, the owner, Thierry, is always on hand and really knows his stuff ! Waffles are available (of course), and there's a couple of menu's available from some good restaurants around the sanlitun village, who deliver in pretty good time.
South on Sanlitun, well worth the short walk to escape the mayhem of bar street.

I like this place for the beer and the selection they have ....

but - i think unless they improve their facilities , e.g - tv's, toilets and heating facilities they will lose their fans - , just some advice as i really do like their place for after work beer - especially in winter

While Sanlitun South drinking options ain't what they used to be, this spot has survived and is going strong. Every night there's a good sized crowd on the patio and its easy to understand why. A large selection of Belgian beers at pretty reasonable prices (most are in the RMB30-50 range, not bad when a lot of them are RMB15-25/bottle) and Beijing draft for RMB20 are great reasons to check this place out. The mixed drinks are on the small side and aren't that great, and they have a stingy happy hour, but the reason to come is for the beer. The noise level is conducive to having a chat and its a nice spot to hang out.

Went in one day to get out of the wind and ended up having a business meeting with several people.
was too early for most of us to drink (one of our group was drinking) but they treated us with respect and kindness. Go into most bars in sanlitun and you get a menu thrown down and you are treated like dirt (or worse) if you don't order in the first 5 seconds and if you don't order more and more. The woman kept bringing us water and refilling the tea pot and napkins before we requested and all with a smile. These people will have a lot of success by their positive attitude and great service.
Simple place and just nice people, this is what is missing in Beijing.

Nice talk with the owner about beer and business, very relaxed and mellow.

Beer Mania is one of those bars that serve the best Belgian beer in Beijing. Also, it'd be a great choice if you r sick of the loud & bad tasted music in other bars in SLT. The atmosphere is quite relaxing & friendly. There ain't many bars like this left in SLT area now.

The summer is coming. Would be nice to seat outside at nights and grab a Chimay.

If I didn't remember wrong, a Chimay cost RMB45. Never tried their food, only heard that the waffles r quite nice tho.
