Beijing Niu Xiongdi (Brothers) Rugby Union Club was formed in February 2007 by a group of Pacific Island students studying in Beijing's numerous Universities together with a handful of ex-Nongda players led by former Chinese Internationals. Although most of the Brothers are currently from the Pacific region, the Xiongdi still welcome players of all nationalities, skill, size, shape, age, and beliefs. The club currently has players from China, Papua New Guinea, Fiji, Vanuatu, Micronesia, Samoa, Tonga, Scotland and Brazil. If you enjoy playing full contact rugby, or just fancy a bit of touch rugby, then come to the sports field at Beijing Language and Culture University (BLCU) in Wudaokou at 17:00 on Thursdays and either a match/training on Saturdays at 15:00. With the Brother's first game yet to come, we look forward to an exciting and successful season!
