Review of Beijing United Family Hospital
Beijing United Family hospital doesn't feel like a family hospital. It feels more like a corporate hospital. Its really expensive and they make you do unnecessary tests. I did not find the doctors very knowledgable. They did not know what is Thyroid imbalance!!! I really do not like the atmosphere there. I would not like to go there again. The only thing good about it is that it is covered by my insurance provider.

Expensive. Here is an example: To see a chiropractor, it costs 3,000RMB for the first appointment - 1,000 for the doctor and 2,000 for the x-rays. That is higher than the cost at a clinic in the US mainland. Why? I have no earthly idea. They also have a reputation for ordering lots of tests, which can drive up the cost of a visit to about 10,000. This place is so expensive that some international medical insurance companies put it on their HCP (high cost provider) list, which they refuse to pay for, or only partially reimburse. If your insurance pays, then more power to you. But if not, beware!

Yes its expensive. But frankly, worth it. Talented, caring doctors and nurses with a competent administration, and best of all, the cleanliness you'd expect from a top-notch facility.

Review of Beijing United Family Hospital
I friend met with a small accident and burnt his finger.
Because he had other medical history of ill health he got into complications.
A Doctor at the emergency took absolutely great care .
Not only he talked so well giving confidence and reassurance that things will be alright,but treated but fast and with real genuine interest without making sure he wasnt taking too many pills or just to make sure the customer overpays.
He was modest and humble .He was a very senior doctor.
All other staff we interacted were also very empathetic and caring.
Kudos to Beijing United !
