Review of Black Sun Bar
Been going here for many years but more frequently over the past few months since the new management took over. They have changed that toilets which was my biggest hate about the place. It's Still a cheap bar, but now with a DJ on friday's who plays good tunes and pub quiz on Tuesday's which is good fun..
If you haven't been in awhile you should check it out again, for me its a great laid back hang out bar.

Probably Beijings worst customer service. Wont go back.
And to whoever wrote the description of the place, its not the original owners of Black Sun Bar (old San Li Tun South Street) who moved there - it was a fake copy back then.
I guess its less of a copy now, with the original black sun not existing anymore, but the service is still bad, so I wont be going there again.

Review of Black Sun Bar
I like this bar for its simplicity and unpretentiousness. It’s a bit of the old school but I don’t mind. I’m not going here to impress. The pool is free as are darts and foosball. I don’t play the later but catching up with my buds over a game of pool is a nice way to kill a few hours. Music is average but not bad. Outdoor patio is very nice but the weather hasn’t warmed up enough for me to spend any time out there yet.

For the quality of the decor and the drinks , the prices are a bit high.
Have had some drink sessions here in the previous location.
Somehow this location does not give you a good feeling .
Many old patrons have shifted to drink else where.
Beijing has many new bars opened in the last few months.

Review of Black Sun Bar
It used to be a decent place to hang out. The interior architecture is nice, there's a pool table, darts, foosball.
Unfortunately, the booths are uncomfortable, and the outdoor seating location isn't nice.
The biggest problem was that they jacked the prices up. This was a huge mistake. There are better palces around to hang out, but Blacksun was nice because it was relatively cheap.
There are better places to hang out and are right next door. And now that Stumble Inn has opened just up the road, I'll not be going back to Blacksun.
Jackin up the prices was a lousy thing to do to the loyal patrons who hung out here.
