A clean-cut 1950s American cinema-style exterior belies the Snoop Dogg music video action within. From the cash-hologrammed bar tops to the leather chaise-longues and the pimpin’ outfits donned by the bar staff, bling is the theme of the plush interior. A crowd of young hip cats, sipping on gin and juice, enjoy R&B and hip-hop euphony from the cozy comfort of the white leather booths dotted around the glitzy gyrating dance floor. Bottled beers (RMB 30) and cocktails (RMB 40) feature on a drinks menu that details an extravagant selection of high-end liqueurs, bubbly (by the bottle, of course) and cigars. Club LA is the latest hip-hop hangout in which to spend your hard-earned benjamins. Crisis? What crisis?

Review of Club LA
While I'm not a huge fan of hiphop/mainstream pop as I used to be, I give props to LA for their consistency of good music. The resident DJ never disappoints and the resident cover band seems to always know how to get the crowd pumping. Another good thing is that its connected to Coco Banana so in one night you can get both house and hiphop. So why 4 and not 5 stars? Too many tables, not enough dance space at LA.
