Located in historic Liulichang, one of Beijing’s most well known “culture streets,” Cui Wen Ge boasts a long line of renowned carving masters and sells calligraphy, carving, brushes and chops. One of the store’s claims to fame is that its founder helped sculpt the Monument to the People's Heroes in which stands in front of Mao Zedong’s Mausoleum in Tian’anmen Square.
