My husband and I attended the Sunday BBQ Pool party today. Overall we had an enjoyable time: the lamb and burgers and hot dogs were juicy and big, with lots of fish, roasted veggies, salads and excellent breads, standard fruits and some pleasing if not the best ice cream. There was also wines and sodas, but the "On Tap" beer was simply canned Tsingtao poured into a dispenser, which the staff did in front of everyone!!!!! Also when we got there the staff were horribly disorganized!!! The concierge was supposed to show us to our table but she got distracted when she saw more clients coming and told us the staff outside would show us. They had no idea and left us standing for 10 minutes alone while they went a tried to sort it out which they did not. Eventually it became a free for all and people just took whatever tables were available. That left a bad impression and a bad start to the day. The pool was ok if too warm and it was too hot inside the swimming pool.

Went their with my family and a group of friends last weekend and had a fantastic time - the pool was cool and pristine, the garden was serene and the selection of food was enough to keep us and our kids satisfied for hours - we especially loved the lamb ribs. Free flow of beer and wine is also always a plus. The only downside is that I can see this weekly event getting so popular that it might be too crowded for comfort at some point...
